There really is no better feeling than the sun on your face and knowing that summer is well and truly here. Well, with another summer all set to spent at home, you can very well bask in the glory of the sun. However, summer can surely be brutal on your feet. The humidity, paired with hot concrete, can leave your feet a swampy, smelly mess just asking for blisters. But as long as you properly outfit your summer closet, you have nothing to fear. We got in touch with Ishaan Sachdeva, Director, Alberto Torresi to list out two coolest summer trends for the feet and here's what he had to say!
Sandals
If there is one footwear style we all need once the weather hot’s up, it’s sandals. Sandals are perfect for those long warm days basking in the sun, they keep your feet cool, keep them comfy and best of all they look super stylish. Summer shoes should be versatile and breathable.
So what colour sandals should you buy? Keep it simple. Stick to black or brown, which will go with nearly every outfit.
Espadrilles
If you're not a fan of sandals, we recommend espadrilles as an option. Espadrilles also come in a multitude of materials, including leather and suede. Stick to the classic lightweight canvas in the summer. Look to a pair of espadrilles to get certain carefree summer vibes without displaying your toes. They're a no-brainer for the holidays as they're light, comfortable, and easy to pack.
And what colour espadrilles should you buy? Black, navy, or tan are the most versatile options. To brighten up your look, go for a lighter grey (sand) colour or even white.
