It shows you’re paying attention: Asking questions is a great way to let everyone around you know that you’re interested in the conversation. Whether you’re in a meeting with colleagues or having a conversation with a friend, asking questions will let them know you care about what they have to say.

It leads to innovation: Asking questions about the products and services that you provide is a great way to help improve them. Just because something is working, doesn’t mean it couldn’t work better. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” isn’t always the truth.
