“Treat older women like your mother, and treat younger women like your sisters with appropriate respect.”

The Good News: Being a woman means you are a part of a sisterhood that spans across time and continents. How you treat a “sister” or a “mother” is how you encourage them to treat you and other women, so let it be in a manner of encouragement and respect.

The Good News: Sometimes a woman’s worth gets boiled down to her beauty, but it’s in the way she treats others, her leadership, and her intellect that makes her shine.

“Instead, we are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. God planned for these good things to be the way that we live our lives.”

The Good News: When it comes to the Bible, there can be this idea that women are second to men — they were created from them. But it’s worth remembering, women were made with purpose to do more than aid men. Women were created to spread goodness throughout the world, as God’s accomplishment.

“‘Daughter, your faith has healed you,’ Jesus said. ‘Go in peace.’”

The Good News: Whatever you’re going through, whatever strife or suffering you may be experiencing, know that your faith can get you through. By touching Jesus, a woman was saved, and by believing, you too can find redemption.

“When a woman gives birth, she has pain because her time has come. But when the child is born, she no longer remembers her distress because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.”

The Good News: The growth and birth of a child can be painful and taxing both on a woman’s physical and mental health, but by enduring, you will be rewarded tenfold with a beautiful child that will expand your heart’s capacity for love.

“When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what had just happened, they were filled with awe and said, ‘This was certainly God’s Son.’ Many women were watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to serve him. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.”

The Good News: When people think of Jesus’s followers, many think of his disciples, but there were many notable women such as Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and more that played a pivotal role in his life, standing by his side from birth to death to resurrection. They showed steadfast loyalty and support to Jesus, a common and valuable trait among women.

“Instead, make yourselves beautiful on the inside, in your hearts, with the enduring quality of a gentle, peaceful spirit. This type of beauty is very precious in God’s eyes."

The Good News: A great lesson in beauty is that it comes from within. A beautiful mind, a beautiful soul, and a beautiful spirit all reflect on the outside. After all, it is what’s within that makes us whole.

"Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

The Good News: No matter what you look like or what worldly riches you have, a woman's commitment to the Lord is her greatest attribute.

"She surveys a field and acquires it; from her own resources, she plants a vineyard. She works energetically; her arms are powerful."

The Good News: If a woman sets her mind to something, she will get it done — no matter the task or toll.
