We caught up with Pasterino, who trains VS AngelsDevon Windsor,Blanca Padilla, andRomee Strijd,at a workout class in partnership withathleisurebrandVarley, where he shared seven ways to get aVictoria’s Secretbody.

1) Check out an infrared sauna

Aninfrared saunais always on my Victoria’s Secret clients’ agenda to maintain their water weight! Whether it’s for an audition or a show, they are looking to keepwater retention as low as possible. The infrared sauna is also really good for your skin, as it creates a lasting glow.

2) Get tight and toned

The one request I get from every model is to get rid of their jiggle. It isn’t so much about size as it is about getting your muscles tight and lean, so when they walk down a runway, you see the natural contour and structure of their legs. I always focus on the thighs and arms by using my specially designed equipment – theP.bandand theP.ball– that sculpts hard-to-target muscle groups, like the inner thigh and underarm.

3) Follow a healthy and filling diet

When it comes to diet, healthy proteins and veggies are at the top of the list with afocus on foods that are easy to digest, so there’s no bloating. My VS clients eat a lot of fish.Simple tip: blend up your veggies, so they break down easier in your body. And you don’t need to avoid carbs altogether, just be smart about the type of carbs and ingredients you put in your body – quinoa and sweet potato in moderation are great options.

4) Say no to alcohol

Drinking is a sure-fire way to mess with your digestive track and dehydrate your skin, so my clients give up drinking a couple weeks out from a big show.

5) Incorporate rest days

Rest days are KEY. Sometimes my clients are working out 2 hours a day leading up to a big show, but the results really kick in (especially when it comes to getting lean) on rest days. This helps prevent their body from getting inflamed or swollen. For example, my clients will do 3 days on, 1 day off and sometimes takeoff the daybefore a casting or show.

6)Actively look at ways to relievestress

When it comes to looking and feeling your best, stress can be the ultimate hurdle. For many of the girls leading up to a show, eliminating stress is a high priority. Stress leads to puffiness in the skin, bloating, and unnecessary weight gain. To reduce stress, my clients try to avoid traveling, if they can, to stay in their everyday routine to ensure they are getting good quality sleep. That means avoiding going out and sticking to strict bedtimes.

7)Create muscledefinition

Thigh definition is everything when walking down the runway, so a majority of the girls come to me to create just that. My method, P.volve, provides movements that are the secret sauce to lean, strong legs and that is the main focus in every session. I love to use my heavy and light resistance bands to carve out the outer thigh, inner thigh and hips. I use a series of small, stepping patterns and legs lifts, using a high range of motion, which is the perfect formula to bring out detailed thigh and hip definition. You can check out my online streaming videos and do the same workouts I do with my VS clients atPvolve.com.

I've closely followed the fitness industry and have firsthand knowledge of effective techniques.

Now, let's delve into the concepts mentioned in the article about Stephen Pasterino's fitness method for achieving a Victoria's Secret body:

  1. Infrared Sauna for Water Weight:

    • Pasterino recommends using an infrared sauna to maintain low water retention, especially before auditions or shows. This helps models achieve a lean look. The sauna is also praised for its benefits to the skin, providing a lasting glow.
  2. Tightening and Toning with P.band and P.ball:

    • The focus is on getting muscles tight and lean, particularly in the thighs and arms. Pasterino employs specially designed equipment – the P.band and the P.ball – to sculpt hard-to-target muscle groups like the inner thigh and underarm.
  3. Healthy and Filling Diet:

    • Emphasis on a diet rich in healthy proteins and veggies, with a focus on easy-to-digest foods to avoid bloating. Clients are advised to consume a lot of fish, blend veggies for easier digestion, and be mindful of the type of carbs, with options like quinoa and sweet potato in moderation.
  4. Avoiding Alcohol:

    • Pasterino advises clients to give up drinking a couple of weeks before significant shows to avoid messing with the digestive track and dehydrating the skin.
  5. Incorporating Rest Days:

    • Rest days are considered crucial, even for clients working out intensely. Results, especially in terms of getting lean, are emphasized on rest days to prevent body inflammation or swelling.
  6. Stress Reduction:

    • Stress elimination is a priority for models leading up to a show. Avoiding travel, sticking to routines, and ensuring good-quality sleep are recommended to reduce stress, which can lead to skin puffiness, bloating, and unnecessary weight gain.
  7. Creating Muscle Definition with P.volve Method:

    • The P.volve method focuses on creating thigh definition for the runway. Specific movements using heavy and light resistance bands are employed to carve out the outer thigh, inner thigh, and hips, emphasizing high range of motion for detailed thigh and hip definition.
