Great. But how does it work?

If you’ve ever changed your Apple Watch band you already know how ActionSleeve works: 1. remove your current Apple Watch band, 2. push the Apple Watch “body” into the back of ActionSleeve and 3. strap ActionSleeve on, tighten and go. Your screen, crown and button remain fully accessible and functional. With tight and consistent skin contact, all sensors and monitors still works great.

    Love it

I’m a fisherman so can’t wear my watch to work with a normal watch band as it gets gross and banged around a lot. So I bought this band so I could keep monitoring my excercise etc and it works so well! Super comfy and I hardly know it’s there, but can still feel the notifications etc which is also handy. Would 100% recommend!

    Very useful for boxing

I box for fitness and this strap has been such a game changer for my workouts. It doesn’t slip on my arm and it’s just the right width that it doesn’t feel heavy or restricting

    Haven't stopped wearing it!

It's great for sport or work. Keeps the watch out of the way so it doesn't get damaged. Bare below the elbows is how most health practitioners must work and this is the best way to do it.

    Excited for Series 7 Support

I own the earlier version of the ActionSleave, and I was excited about Series 7 support. The watch snaps into the holder quickly, and the slightly stretchy band is easy to fasten around the upper arm. During my first workout with the band, I experience no binding, even when working my biceps and triceps. Readings from the watch were consistent throughout the session. I'm delighted to get my Series 7 off my wrist during workouts and love my new ActionSleeve.

Do the arm bands work for Apple Watch? ›

Action Sleeve/Armband holds Apple Watch on your upper arm, forearm or ankle instead of your wrist, giving you an alternate way to wear Watch while still using all of the powerful tracking features.

Where is the best place to wear the Apple Watch? ›

    Position the Apple Watch correctly

Wear the Apple Watch on the top side of your wrist with the display facing you, ideally about an inch above your wrist bone. The watch should be snug but not tight, allowing for accurate heart rate monitoring and sensor functionality.

Why do guys wear watches on left arm? ›

Wearing watches is not a function of one hand or wrist over the other. That is because a majority of the population, wearing a watch or not, is right-handed. Since they have to wear their watches on the non-dominant hand, a lot of people wear their watches on the left.

Why do you wear a watch on your non-dominant arm? ›

The biggest concern of why you need to wear a watch on a non-dominant hand is the practicality to operate the crown. Look at your watch crown and where it is placed. Most of them are put at the 3 o'clock position because most people (90%) in the world are right-handed, which means at the right side of a watch.

What is the most comfortable Apple wristband? ›

The Braided Loop bands are the most versatile choice for your Apple Watch. They're comfortable and available in a wide range of colors—the perfect all-rounder. It is made of supremely soft and stretchable nylon, which makes it easy to put on and remove. It's perfect for workouts and all-day wear.

What arm should a woman wear Apple Watch? ›

The proper arm to wear your watch on is your non-dominant hand (in your case your left hand). Apple always advertises Apple Watches with the digital crown to the right. I would recommend wearing you Apple Watch on your left arm with the buttons facing to the right.

Why does my arm hurt when I wear an Apple Watch? ›

Apple Watch and its bands are designed so that parts containing acrylates and methacrylates are not in direct contact with your skin. Another potential cause of discomfort is wearing your Apple Watch too tightly or loosely. An overly tight band can cause skin irritation. A band that's too loose can cause rubbing.

Is Apple Watch better on left or right? ›

Apple Watch works whether you wear it on your left or right wrist, and it does so by rotating the screen to be the correct side up for you. In either case, Apple's preferred way of your wearing it has the Digital Crown on the side of the watch nearest the top of your wrist.

Should you wear your Apple Watch at night? ›

Wear your watch to bed, and Apple Watch can estimate the time you spent in each sleep stage—REM, Core, and Deep—as well as when you might have woken up. When you wake up, open the Sleep app to learn how much sleep you got and see your sleep trends over the past 14 days.

Should you wear your Apple Watch everyday? ›

Simply put, it's not unhealthy to wear your Apple Watch for a long period of time. Smart Watches are really great to have and use. Realistically, at some point you will have to take the watch off to charge it so count that as your wrist break 🙂. The biggest concern, however, is maintenance.

Do you have to move your arm for Apple Watch to count steps? ›

It counts arm movements, as if you were swinging your arms while walking. Knitters get fantastic step counts. People that hold things in their Apple Watch arm while walking (such as pushing a baby carriage), get lousy step counts. You can wave your arm in bed and get step counts.

What does covering your Apple Watch with your hand do? ›

It doesn't matter if it is an alert, an alarm, or Siri notifying you about something, you can cover your Watch with your palm and it will stop all sounds. Apple recommends covering the watch for three seconds, however, as soon as your palm gets in contact with the Watch's face, it silences all the sounds.

Can I sleep with my Apple Watch on my wrist? ›

If the strap is too tight, then it could be uncomfortable or even get sweaty. If the strap is too loose, then you might not get the best readings for things like your heart rate and body temperature. More so, not all Apple Watch bands are going to be as suitable for sleeping purposes.

Should you wear Apple Watch on dominant arm? ›

You should wear your Apple Watch on whichever arm works better for you. Most people prefer putting it, or any watch, on their non-dominant side. Not only does that mean you're using your dominant hand to poke at it, which feels a bit more natural, but it also means it's less in the way.

Are you supposed to wear your watch on a certain arm? ›

The convention is to put the watch on the wrist as your non-dominant hand, as it will be less likely to get in the way or be damaged. For example, if you are left-handed, you should wear a watch on your right wrist.

Which arm should I wear my Apple Watch on? ›

Just make sure your watch strap fits snugly. However, with all of that said, technically speaking, you should wear your watch on your non-dominant hand. That is to say, wear it on whatever hand you do not write with.

Should I wear my Apple Watch at the gym? ›

For example, you can wear and use your Apple Watch during activities such as exercise (exposure to sweat is OK), walking in rain, and washing your hands. Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch (1st generation) have a water-resistance rating of IPX7 under IEC standard 60529.
