No alternatives needed. All modern browsers natively support <video> and <audio> tags without 3rd party players.
If you're going to legacy gaming sites that use Flash technology, you're out of luck. Browsers don't support Flash anymore.
The end of Flash was announced 3 years in advance so developers could replace their Flash content with other technologies before Flash died last year. Those that did are still in business. Those that didn't are gone now.
For developers, Adobe Animate CC replaced Flash Pro.
