With an average home sale price that’s about $220,000 less than that of the metro area, Forest Park is one of the cheapest places to live in Atlanta regarding the cost of living. Forest Park is also family-friendly as it’s home to four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school, and offers residents immediate access to the Atlanta State Farmers Market as well as Starr Park.

A 30 minute drive from the city, Conyers is one of the most recognized Atlanta suburbs. It’s home to the International Horse Park that was built specifically for the 1996 Olympic Winter Games, the Old Jail Museum, and the Lewis Vaughn Botanical Garden. The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival has also become a popular yearly tradition that draws in crowds from all the surrounding suburbs and cities.
