Andrea Brocca | Semi Permanent (1)

Andrea Brocca is an Italian-Sri Lankan couturier and artist that engages in fashion architecture, constructing surrealist designs that blur the line between sculpture and fashion.

Born in Dubai in 1995, Brocca began an early career in fashion design at age 13, designing for Alice Temperley and creating the signature ‘Andrea’ dress which subsequently sold out worldwide, before launching his own womenswear label at age 16, and opening the ‘Andrea Brocca’ boutique in Wafi Mall, which won him the Guinness World Record as Youngest Couturier in the World. He has since dressed the likes of Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, Rina Sawayama and British Monarch Emma Weymouth, Marchioness of Bath, and designed for notable fashion houses, including Prabal Gurung, Ellery, and more notably Bottega Veneta under Daniel Lee.

Brocca trained his technique at La Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris and Central Saint Martins in London His work has been featured in leading publications such as the The New York Times, Vogue Italia, Germany and Arabia, i-D, ShowStudio, Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar China.
