Best place to shop high end, the stores, the architecture, everything amazing with NO lines! Eat at L' Avenue as well, so good!

It is up to you, your time and preferences

Sep 2022

Personally, I had two reasons. to visit this avenue. The Dior Gallery (museum, located on the adjoining street - 11 rue Francois 1er), which I highly recommend especially for women, and the Hotel Plaza Athenee, which has a history of visiting celebrities of all times and nations, as well as seeing its magnificent courtyard, located just on Avenue Montaigne.

This is a wide avenue filled with expensive brand stores and restaurants (a small portion of salad costs 28 euros here and restaurant visitors eat with such an expression as if they had never eaten anything like this in their lives), as well as golden Rolls-Royces, if you do not plan to buy something specific here, don't waist your time, this is avenue as avenue.

Avenue of the Super Rich

Jun 2022

Well it is a pretty street with lovely buildings and nice trees. It was once the home of many dress designers who made gowns to order for the richest women of the world. Then it because the home of retail catering to the richest. Some of that activity has shifted to other districts of Paris and now the street is full of apartment buildings that have been converted to offices. A big expensive hotel. Best structure is the Theater des Champs Elysees where several historic performances occurred.

Avenue with Luxury Stores

Sep 2021 • Couples

Another street in the center of Paris filled with high end luxury stores like Chanel, LV, Dior, etc. Went on the first week of September and it wasn’t crowded due to pandemic limiting tourists. Many expensive exotic cars parked along 5 star hotels and near the luxury stores. Unlike Champs Elysees, stores are further apart. Good for a stroll to check off Paris bucket list. Ok to skip if no intentions to buy anything.

Not my class

Dec 2019

Set between the Champs Elysees and river Seine this is a high end shopping street with world's top brands. Like you might suppose shop windows are perfectly arranged and the prices skyrocking.
We just walked it, seeing many, mostly Asians shopping inside.

Oh Wow!

A whole street of high end designer yumminess! I didn't really know where to look. Just everyone you can think of is represented on this elegant tree lined street. Do have a stroll along it. Not only are there eyefuls of amazing shops, (the design of the shops and the window dressing alone is museum worthy) but you are bound to see some pretty plush vehicles around here too.

Overpriced with an attitude.

Apr 2019 • Family

We were six adults and 2 children of 12 and 9. The place is obviously a trendy joint where pretty girls pretend to wait on you when they are just models with a fake smile, who don’t know what they are doing. Food is nothing special and it’s overpriced to put it mildly. I ate an omelette which was huge and not especially tasty and tried a snail which was ok. We had no wine and no desert and payed 435 euros. Forgot to tell you that there was a constant music playing which got to my nerves. There are plenty of other places to go in Paris and eat real food in a nice environment. Don’t waste your evening.

Glamorous with great snails!

Apr 2019 • Couples

This is a chic place in an even more chic part of town. Nice service, interesting menu. Probably the best 6 snails I’ve ever had. Our friends had huge veal stakes, I had spicy sea bass. All excellent. Good wines. Not cheap but worth it.
