How often should you change your blu clearomizer? ›

The Blu Pro E-Cigarette Kit delivers fantastic quality vapour in an easy-to-use form factor. However, over time the included clearomiser will become worn out, so to ensure quality vapour it is recommended that it is replaced once every 10 refills.

When you notice a decline in the amount of vapor produced after each puff, and the blue light at the tip no longer illuminates when you puff, then it's time to throw away the disposable. For reference, a typical user will get approximately 400 puffs from each disposable.

Simply press the battery button five times in quick succession. The lights on the button and the battery tip will flash 3 times to show it's switched on. Put the mouth-end in your mouth, press the battery button and inhale the vapour like you would inhale on a cigarette.

This can be caused by several things: the pod may not be fully inserted, there could be some liquid or residue between the pod or the battery connection/metal conductors on the pod may have been pushed down too far.

Cleaning Your Clearomizer

Put a few drops of hot (not boiling) water into the top of the tank, seal the top with your finger and shake it a few times to swill the water around and then shake the water out. Repeat this a couple of times as required.

I'd recommend this device for users who value simplicity; given the device uses pre-filled cartridges and inhale activation, the only thing we as users need to monitor is battery level. There's a lot to be said for a vape that works reliably and effectively without almost any upkeep!

How Long Will My Disposable Blu Bar Last? Each Blu Bar comes fitted with a pre-charged 400mAh battery that lasts for approximately 600 puffs. This excellent battery life is dependent on use factors and is a rough estimate based on standard product testing.

First of all, you can take the pod out of the device and see if there's any juice left. Or when you start getting weak hits (50% less vapour then normal) or you hit it and get nothing or feel burnt, then stop hitting the pod. It's empty.

Your Vape Tastes Burnt

This is probably the most noticeable thing that tells you your coil needs replacing, and something most vapers will experience. When you vape, you'll experience a truly horrible 'burnt' taste in the back of your throat. It's acrid and unpleasant, it can even make you feel sick.

However, a blue blinking light can often be a broad indicator that there's an issue with your battery's power. There are a number of reasons why a vape might suddenly stop working. Make sure the battery's contact and charging ports are both clean and that your cartridge isn't screwed on too tight. If it still doesn't work after a good cleaning, it's possible your cartridge is clogged.

Storing your vape device in too cold environments can cause e-liquid thickening; it can disturb the airflow, causing bubbles. Keeping your device in a bit warmer environment for a bit can pop the air bubble.

No smoke from your cart usually means there's a clog or a problem with the vape pen's heating mechanism. Residue buildup can obstruct the airflow, and issues with the heating element or battery connection can prevent the liquid from being heated properly to produce vapor.

If you have a brand-new disposable vape that isn't generating vapor – and isn't blinking or lighting up when you draw air through it – it's possible that the airflow sensor isn't as sensitive as it should be or that the device's airflow is blocked by a clog.

Re-charging:

When the blue battery light starts flashing it's time to recharge the device. Simply unscrew the clearomiser (tank), and screw on your safe-charge USB cable onto the battery, plug it into your blu mains adaptor (sold separately) or USB port.

A clearomizer/tank with a non-replaceable coil head can last from anywhere between one and four weeks (depending on frequency of use and type of e-liquid used). After this period, the coil within will generally burn out and will need replacing.

If you're a heavy vaper, using your e-cig many times a day. You might need to change the coil every couple of days. If you are a regular vaper but not particularly heavy, it could last a week or two. Irregular or casual vapers might find they need only change their coil every four weeks.
