Brody Jenner: "I Didn't Hook Up With Any of These Girls" on The Hills (2024)

Not the playboy you thought! From 2007 to 2010, Brody Jenner stole the hearts of several members of The Hills cast as fans cheered for him to finally seal the deal with leading lady Lauren Conrad. But as it turns out, the token ladies’ man wasn’t actually playing games with the girls’ hearts.

In a new interview with Yahoo Style, Jenner, 31, revealed that he never hooked up with his costars while filming the hit reality series.

“I would say that the hardest part of it was having to live that fake reality and not being able to say, ‘I didn’t screw every girl on the show,’” the host of Sex With Brody said. “I didn’t have sex with Jen Bunney. I didn’t hook up with Audrina [Patridge]. I didn’t hook up with any of these girls. And then you get all these people saying, ‘Oh, Brody’s a male whor*. He sleeps with all these girls,’ when in actuality I didn’t do that.”

In fact, the only romance that was real was that of Jenner and Conrad’s replacement lead, Kristin Cavallari. But the pair dated prior to her stint on the show and their reconciliation was entirely fabricated for the cameras.

Jenner famously “hooked up” with Conrad’s former childhood pal Bunney at her birthday party, ending Bunney and Conrad’s friendship, but according to him, the romantic evening never happened.

“A lot of that show was scripted. A lot of it was improv,” Caitlyn Jenner’s son admitted. “Lauren’s a dear friend of mine, and it was pretty funny to have to live that reality. We were just friends. We’d film a scene of us kissing or being in this lovey-dovey scene, and then right after it would be like, ‘Cut,’ and we’d be like, ‘Great to see you,’ and we’d go our separate ways.”

As for Jenner’s longtime pal Spencer Pratt, the DJ confirmed that all of Pratt’s antics were plotted out in advance.

“The crazy thing about Spencer is that he manifested his own destiny,” Jenner told Yahoo Style. “He said, ‘I want to be the biggest villain in the whole world. I want people to hate me.’ He scripted out all those moments on The Hills. He creates all that drama, but then it actually caught up to him.”

Nowadays, Jenner doesn’t keep up with his costars, though he occasionally sees Patridge out and briefly ran into Conrad on a plane to Vegas. And he doesn’t recommend fans hold out hope for a reunion movie or special.

“No,” he said, when asked if there would be a film. “There’s a bunch of us so I think it has to work for all of us. I would do it. I’d love to do it.”
