Ihad never invested inanything besides a401k and soitseemed unwise toconsider itasaninvestment but rather away todip mytoes inwithout becoming embarrassinglywet. Iset upanautomatic weekly purchase and pretty much forgot about ituntil 4 years later.Mind you, ifIhad been devoting that small amount toasavings account I’d have just abit over athousand bucks. But this was bitcoin and Ihad way more than thatnow. So, did Ihold onfor dear life and ride the wave even higher? Perhaps Ishould have, but Idid what Ifelt was the most sensible. Icashed out and paid off alarge portion ofdebt.Ialso upped myweekly BTC purchase and quickly became able topay off even more debt. Aseemingly insignificant experiment became amajor strategy for improving myfinancial condition. Bitcoin kept rising invalue and seemed unstoppable. Was ittime togoallin? For me, no.
