Chanel is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1910 by Coco Chanel in Paris. It is privately owned by the Wertheimer family and has been headquartered in London since 2018. It focuses on women's ready-to-wear clothes, luxury goods and accessories.

The company pauses its business in Russia. Import to Russia is suspended and all shops are closed. Shipments dropped sharply after the invasion, and very few remaining shipments are all indirect. The bulk of indirect shipments after the invasion is traded by Switzerland.
