WordPress has screen options for editing single pages and posts that may beturned off by default, such as excerpts for posts and custom fields. Theseoptions appear on the standard WordPress editing pages with the Standard (block) Editor orClassic editor.
To check and modify your screen options, use the following instructionsdepending on whether you use the Standard or Classic WordPress editor.
To change screen options in the WordPress Standard Editor:
In the list that appears, click Options. The Options panel opens.
Select the checkboxes for items that you want to display on the WordPress editing page and clear the checkboxes for items you don't.
Click the x in the upper right corner to close the Options panel. The options you selected should appear on the editing page, usually below thepost or page content.
In the following animation, the Excerpt field is being enabled in theOptions panel.
To change screen options in the WordPress Classic editor:
Open any page or post in the WordPress editor.
In the upper right corner, click the Screen options tab.
Select the checkboxes for items that you want to display on the WordPress editing page and clear the checkboxes for items you don't.
Click the Screen options tab again to close the panel. The options you selected should appear on the editing page, usually below thepost or page content.
The main difference between Elementor and Beaver Builder is that Elementor has a larger user base and offers more features and widgets, making it a more versatile option. In contrast, Beaver Builder has a simpler and more streamlined interface, making it easier to use and better for beginners.
The WordPress Screen Options in the Menu and Widget Editors are in the upper right. Click the down arrow to open the flyout menu. When activated from Screen Options, you can edit the link target for menu items.
To edit your website's overall structure, navigate to Appearance → Editor. Here, you can edit your site's menus, header, and footer. You can also edit the templates (which control the layout used by pages and posts) and patterns (content to reuse across multiple parts of your site).
Visit your site's dashboard.On the left side, navigate to Pages or Posts.In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the “View” tab and select Classic view.
Click on any text to edit it. Click on any Image block and click Replace to swap the image for your own. You can customize any block, move them around, and add new blocks too. For more information on using the WordPress editor, check out our guides.
You should be able to go to Appearance → Editor → Styles, click the ellipsis button in the top right, and click the “Reset to defaults” button. That will reset the style settings.
