co*ke float makes a classic drink recipe. Made of ice cream and Coca-Cola, a co*ke float is a definite favorite.

Yesterday afternoon Little Buddy and I had been busily going about the day when out of the wild blue yonder he said, “I think we need a co*ke float, Mama.” Now, I’m not a very spontaneous person. I like to have a plan for the day and pretty much stick with it and I hadn’t planned on making co*ke floats, but when I saw his face with his eyes dancing with excitement and a hint of that I sure hope she doesn’t say no mingled in there somewhere I decided what they hay. Why not make a co*ke float?

When I said, “Sure!” You would have thought a million dollars had floated down from the sky.

Sometimes it’s just not that hard to impress nine year old, I guess.

He helped me gather together the few things we needed: favorite Coca-Cola glasses, straws, scoop for the ice cream, ice cream and co*kes, of course.

Within just a few minutes we were sipping (okay slurping may be a better word for it) on our co*ke floats and chatting away about all sorts of good stuff. I started thinking this spontaneous side of me just might be the way to go every once in a while!
