Strategy/Usage[]
Just like most other Uberfest exclusives, Dawnbringer Izanagi doesn't seem to have great stats at a cursory glance. While their health is great and 12k DPS is incredible, they have a three part multi-hit that barely overlaps and single target. The result is that Dawnbringer Izanagi's DPS is seemingly below average, and would absolutely not be worth sacrificing range and Area Attack for.
However, one of Dawnbringer Izanagi's other abilities is insane damage vs. traited enemies, which increases each of their hits' damage to 183.6k damage, higher than a level 30 Lufalan Pasalan. This equates to over 75k DPS in total, on par with a strengthened talented Greater Balrog Cat, except Dawnbringer Izanagi is far more sustainable due to having a higher standing range and nearly double the health. Due to their multi-hit however, individual enemies will only experience around 25k DPS, which is still absurdly high. Their multi-hit with extending ranges each hit also means that their destruction is spread across the entire battlefield, reaching up to 800 range and nuking any backliners that are unfortunate enough to face their wrath.
Dawnbringer Izanagi isn't without limitations, though, as single target inevitably leads them to struggle in any stage with a lot of peons. Their survivability is also mediocre, having only two chances to reposition along with standing at medium range, and it should be noted that due to the way Long Distance targeting interacts with bases, Dawnbringer Izanagi will stand at 1 range from an enemy base if no enemies prevent them from moving that close. Dawnbringer Izanagi can be left vulnerable to enemies spawning on top of them and combined with only 3 knockbacks, this can result in them dying very quickly if there isn't a consistent flow of enemies to prevent them from advancing.
Their Conjured Spirit is also very interesting, being able to knockback and slow all enemies for 4.33 seconds. It is recommended to save this ability for when a dangerous frontline enemy such as Sir Rel or Razorback comes out, letting you stall them momentarily and allow your units to chip down some of their health. The Spirit also does 45.9k damage itself, allowing it to take a decent amount of health off any enemy it connects with. The most ideal way to use the Spirit is to activate it when Dawnbringer Izanagi is being knocked back, making the Spirit spawn on top of Dawnbringer Izanagi and piercing the full 800 range forward into the enemy lines. However, this is hard to time and Dawnbringer Izanagi might not be knocked back at a moment where it's convenient to use the Spirit.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A humanoid cat flying on a cloud platform wearing a dress, a belt with a swirling rainbow crystal and a helmet. Both arms have white, ghostly flames trailing behind them while a spear floats along with their right arm. They appear to be standing on some kind of cloud, or tornado. They attack by twirling the spear and causing two smaller glowing daggers to appear. The daggers jab into the enemy, causing orange flames along the ground as they go, and are soon followed by the spear.
- Evolved Form: The arm's fire now has a charm attached along the tips. Their dress gets darker, and their belt now resembles an infinity symbol. Two small blades near the tip of their spear also point slightly more outwards. The attack is similar, but the humanoid's hand glows rainbow as they command the spear, and the fire made by the weapons as they rush towards the enemy is now more rainbow.

Trivia[]
- While Daybreaker Izanagi may look feminine, they are directly based on Izanagi ("He-who-invites" or "Male-who-invites"), one of the primordial central deities of the Japanese creation myth. Together, Izanagi and his sister-wife Izanami are said to have created the islands of Japan and many of the Shinto gods who came to inhabit them, such as Amaterasu, who is considered one of Izanagi's "Three Precious Children", and Ebisu, who is sometimes identified with the twins' misconceived firstborn son Hiruko. The floating spear next to the Cat Unit is Ame-no-Nuboko, a jeweled spear that the twin gods used to stir the ocean, creating the first Japanese island in mythology, Onogoroshima, from the brine that fell from the spear's tip and back into the sea.
- Izanagi, Amaterasu and Ebisu all have abilities targeting every trait, and Izanagi's Insane Damage ability is a stronger version of Amaterasu's Massive Damage.
- They and Master of Mind Soractes were the first units to receive the Conjure ability.
