Inspired by the Miami Design District, Design Miami/ was established in 2005 by Dacra’s Craig Robins. The idea was to create a companion design fair for the international art fair Art Basel Miami Beach. Design Miami/ has become the largest gathering of its kind, bringing together the most influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators, and critics from around the world in celebration of design culture and commerce.
