While most of us might have heard of the value-added tax (VAT) refunds, not everyone knows how it actually works. To put it simply, non-European citizens are eligible to receive a refund on the VAT tax for all of their purchases (except alcohol and lubricants for ships) when spending a minimum of 50 Euros.
