Don't get the VIP Royal Upgrade
Overall this is a really fun venue, but the $12 per person VIP upgrade is completely unnecessary. Yes, you'll be in the second row, but you can be in the third row if you just arrive when the doors open. Other than that, the VIP gets you a cheering banner that is $2 to purchase separately plus a really tacky VIP thing to wear around your neck. I gave four stars rather than five because the bar and specialty drinks are outrageously priced and because it seems inappropriate for the souvenir sales people to block the view of the show to peddle what's available for purchase in the lobby. It seems like Medieval Times wants to nickel and dime their patrons to death at any cost. Aside from those negatives, it's a cute show and the horses are spectacular.

Christmas gift paid off
A friend and I took my youngest. It was quite a good performance. The food wasn't top notch but for the price paid and the performance I would say it was worth the cost. Audience participation is encouraged as a cheering section, which was great for the kiddo.

Spring break trip
Went for the first time in several years. The show was nice and my kids (11 and 10) really enjoyed it. They did a knight training for the kids before the show which was a hit.
Food was good and portions were good size. Be ready to spend on souvenirs and stuff for the kids because it’s definitely not cheap.

Birthday celebration for daughter
Drive was long but worth it. Our two grandkids, ages 3 and 1, loved it. However the noise level was extreme and had to take our one year old grandson out for awhile. Food was very good. Prices a little high but expected. Just wished we were better informed about the different packages. All in all great family time. Lots of smiles.
