Elephants are a very unique animal because they can be ridden once Ajay obtains the Elephant Rider skill. When riding an elephant it is best used to take out groups of enemies or vehicles because its lethargic movement speed and slow turning make it difficult to take out single enemies at a time. Once you have ridden an elephant it will fight for you once you get off so a solid strategy is to ride one into an outpost and then just hop off and take out stray enemies as Barbar does the dirty work.
