Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale airs Tom King and Belle Dingle's wedding next week, but there are more signs of worrying behaviour from the groom.

The young couple have arranged to tie the knot in Valentine's week, but Tom's controlling behaviour causes problems in the run-up to the ceremony.

A few days before the wedding, Tom is surprised to learn that Belle doesn't want to take his surname once they're husband and wife.

Belle offers a reasonable explanation for her decision, but this doesn't stop Tom from piling more pressure on her. In the end, Belle chooses to keep Tom happy by becoming Mrs King.

Later in the week, Belle struggles with the realisation that neither of her parents will be at the ceremony. Her father Zak is away in Scotland, while her mother Lisa sadly died in 2019.

Belle considers postponing the big day for a more appropriate time, but Tom reacts badly again and reminds her that both of his parents are dead so won't be there either.

As Tom storms off in a mood, Belle is left with no idea of whether he intends to turn up for the ceremony or not.

As the wedding day dawns, Belle struggles as she hasn't heard from Tom and he isn't answering her calls.

After Tom's uncle Jimmy gives him some much-needed perspective, he texts Belle to confirm that the wedding is still on.

Belle and Tom enjoy their big day as they tie the knot in front of family and friends at the local church.

Belle's brother Sam walks her down the aisle and gives her away, as well as bringing along a moving letter that Lisa once wrote for her daughter's wedding day.

Sadly, Tom grows annoyed by the Dingles' eccentricities and traditions throughout the day – both at the ceremony and at the subsequent wedding reception at The Hide.

Things get worse when vengeful newcomer Ruby Fox-Miligan disrupts the party by announcing Caleb and Tracy's affair to everyone.

Tom is seething as he feels that Belle's chaotic family have ruined their big day. How will Belle feel about his disapproving tone?

The latest scenes follow Tom's violent behaviour in a flashback scene last October, which saw him push Belle to the ground and injure her after she'd turned down his initial proposal.

Emmerdale will air the wedding in an hour-long episode on Thursday, February 15.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
