Mango lagoon Resort Palm Cove – Where relaxation comes naturally!

Palm Cove has a year round tropical climate so any time is great to visit – the busiest months are the winter months of June to October, when the weather is warm and dry (around 21-25 degrees Celsius).

Water in Palm Cove is safe to drink from the tap.

Mango Lagoon Resort is hosting a Café which provides great breakfasts, and occasionally lunches, in accordance with the occupation of the Resort. The Café is privately operated and is not controlled or managed by Mango Lagoon Resort. It is currently open 7 days a week from 7am to 11am (In-room dining service not available).

Our usual check in time is from 2:00 PM and up to 6:00 PM (or 1:00 PM during the weekend).However if you intend to arrive earlier, please contact us ahead of schedule to arrange this as we may be able to have your apartment ready earlier than 2:00 PM.

Your room key will be stored in our Key Safe located opposite to Reception desk, in an envelope containing a welcome letter in which you will find all instructions to get to your room safely, a map of the Resort, and a little map of Palm Cove to find the essentials after your arrival. A telephone close to the safe is available to contact our after-hours service which will give you access to the safe.

Our usual check out time is 10:00 AM, unless you have arranged a later time with Reception.

Departing guests are welcome to use Mango Lagoon’ facilities after check out, including public areas free Internet, swimming pools and luggage storage until departure.

Mango Lagoon Resort has 4 pools including a 50m Olympic lap pool and a kids friendly lagoon pool with shallow water.Our pools are kindly heated by the tropical Sun.

We provide all bed linen and bath towels. All you need to bring is a beach towel to use at the pool or at the beach.

Beach/pool towels are also available for hire from reception for a small 5$ fee for the duration of your stay.

Free broadband Wi-Fi is available in all apartments, as well as in all public areas of the Resort.

Unfortunately Mango Lagoon Resort doesn’t have yet any Cable TV available, but the high speed internet available in every apartment will allow you to stream your preferred programs on your own devices (iPads, phones, tablets, laptop computers…).

Streaming on the apartment’s TV is not possible at this stage.

Free undercover car parks and open air car parks are available in number. There is no designated car park coming with your apartment in Mango Lagoon Resort. The four (4) disabled spaces at the end of the carpark must not be used unless the appropriate licence/sticker is clearly displayed.

Mango Lagoon Resort palm Cove is located in Cedar Road, just 900 metres from the Esplanade from the main road, or 500 metres from the back gate of the Resort. On the Esplanade of Palm Cove, are a bakery, convenience stores, restaurants, Post Office, shops and food bars.

It’s an easy 6 to 10 min walk to many restaurants, cafes, and shops. There’s a regular local bus service to go to Cairns or to the nearest Supermarket located in Clifton Beach (2.5 km away).

Our Tour Desk operates from Reception. Management staff with their local knowledge can offer you some great advice on all tours that best suit your requirements, and there is no need to book them in advance so you can pick the best possible weather during your stay! Most tours pick up at the front door of Mango Lagoon Resort.

There are two floors – Ground floor (courtyard), and First floor (upper floor).

Mango Lagoon Resort has Budget Rooms (hotel room and ensuite bathroom), and One and Two bedroom apartments on each floor.

Mango Lagoon is perfectly convenient for single travellers, couples and for larger families.

A responsible adult must always be in any apartment of Mango Lagoon Resort.

The Budget Rooms can accommodate two (2) adults and one (1) child only up to 3 years old, sleeping in a baby cot or in the King bed with the parents. All our Budget Rooms come with Long Single beds (Twin beds), which can be combined into a King bed.

The One bedroom apartments can accommodate a maximum of three (3) persons: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child, with an extra rollaway bed, a Baby Cot, or an extra day bed already in the apartment. A King bed is supplied in the main bedroom. Few apartments of Mango Lagoon Resort have Twin beds in their main bedrooms.

The Two bedroom apartments can accommodate a maximum of five (5) persons: 5 adults or combination of adults and children, with an extra rollaway bed, a Baby Cot, or an extra day bed already in the apartment. All our Two bedroom apartments come with one King bed and Twin beds or second King bed in the 2nd bedroom.

All special bedding configuration, rollaway beds or baby cots are to be requested at the time of booking or up to 48h prior to arrival.

Apartments are serviced at mid stay if you are staying for six nights or more, and every 6 days if you stay 12 nights or more. Arrangements can be made for more frequent servicing or towel changes, at an additional cost.

We enjoy hosting wedding groups, family reunions and special occasion celebrations and of course are happy to offer a discount on group bookings. Please contact us directly for a quote.

Yes, every single room in all apartments have their own air conditioning units and ceiling fans. Our air conditioning units are pre-set to 24 degrees Celsius for your comfort and can only been fine-tuned by the management.

Smoking is not permitted in your apartment or outside in your courtyard, in the staircases or in our tropical gardens. A designated smoking area is located in the carparks, close to the Café.

Sorry, unfortunately pets are not allowed at Mango Lagoon Resort.
