FF XIV: The Regalia is coming back to Final Fantasy XIV in an FFXV crossover event - The Click (2024)

ByPatrick Souza

The next event for Final Fantasy XIV was officially announced, and it’s one of the most anticipated for many players: The return of Final Fantasy XV crossover event, and along with it, the coming back of its exclusive mount, the Regalia.

The car in which Noctis and his friends spend most of their field trip during XV’s campaign is not awesome in XIV, but also one of the few 4-seat mounts in the game. It is tied to the event, so it’s not hard to get it.

Mounts with more than one seat are usually only available through the Mogstation or locked behind difficult contents, like the 4-seat Cerberus mount which is rewarded for clearing Delubrum Reginae (Savage).

How to get the Regalia in the FFXV crossover event

Players must complete the event questline in order to get not only the car, but also Noctis’s clothes and hairstyle. The quest can be started at Ul’dah, near the Grand Company office, and will be available from September 13 to October 18.

Players who previously completed the event in its original run back in 2019 don’t need to use the Season Event Replay feature in order to buy the special items unless they really want to replay the event quests.

During those quests, you’ll meet Noctis personally, and after completing the line, you’ll receive his outfit as a reward. You’ll be able to buy special seasonal items in the Gold Saucer for some MGP. I hope you saved some from the last Make It Rain campaign!

The items are:

  • Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks – 20.000 MGP
  • Noctis Lucis Caelum Card – 10.000 MGP
  • Regalia Type-G Title – 200.000 MGP

You only need 230.000 in total to get all the FFXV crossover items, Regalia included. This amount is not that much when we compare it to the Sabotender Emperor mount, which costs 2 million MGP alone.

Just a fun trivia, FFXV also has a XIV special quest, in which you fight XIV’s Garuda as a boss and can unlock a Miqo’te outfit for Noctis.
