The free version of Google Play Music allows you to listen to any of the songs you have backed up to Google's cloud — the company lets you store up to 20,000 tracks at no charge. For free users, the app's radio feature creates mixes of the songs in your collection using the same algorithms that power the paid version.
Google will display potential song matches based on your humming. Click on the song title in the search results to learn more about the song, artist, and access related information.
Tip: To add a song or an album from your library to the Up Next queue, drag the item to the Up Next button or queue. To immediately start playing a song or an album from your library, drag the item to the top center of the Music window until a highlighted border appears.
Start by launching Shazam on your device. Within the app, tap the Shazam button to kick off the identification process. Go to your camera roll and tap play while Shazam works to identify the song. Get notified once Shazam successfully identifies the song.
