That’s right, I said school! They’re deemed as inappropriate and too revealing–how many stories have we heard about girls being sent home from school because of their “inappropriate outfit”? The truth is, you don’t have to bare it all to rock this piece! Crop tops can totally be professional and appropriate. It all depends on how you style them. For the gals like me who love to dress up, pairing a fancy crop top with a midiskirt makes for a totally appropriate and stylish school outfit.
5. Layer it up
Layering a crop top guarantees that zero midriff will be showing. The key to layering a crop is making sure that it doesn’t make the top underneath look bunched up and unflattering. If you’re going to layer your crop top with a blouse, make sure that the crop is nice and flowy so that it compliments the blouse well.
