How early can you check-in Royal Air Maroc? ›

Yes, you may check-in for your Royal Air Maroc (AT) flight online starting 48 hours and ending 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Online check-in isn't available for passengers, all passengers must check in at the airport.

Standard check-in opens at least two-and-a-half hours before departure for short and mid-haul flights, and at least three-and-a-half hours before departure for long-haul flights. Arriving any earlier than this won't mean you can check in or pass through security early. How can I prepare for security?

Check-in times. You can check in online or from the app starting 24 hours before and up to 45 minutes before your flight (90 for international). To check bags or check in at the airport, you must be there a certain amount of time before scheduled departure: Within the U.S. – 45 minutes.

When you're traveling outside of the United States, we suggest arriving at least 3 hours prior to your departure. You must be checked in at least 1 hour before your scheduled departure.

Arrive 3 hours before your flight's departure time to allow for check-in, baggage drop, clearing security and customs, and to explore the airport before you fly.

In most cases, you will only need to go to check-in when you have checked-in online if you need to drop off an item of hold baggage. Please ensure that you are aware of the hand baggage requirements for your specific airline before you travel.

Most airlines recommend arriving at the airport three hours before departure for international flights. It's common for international flights to start boarding earlier than domestic flights (the aircraft are often larger and have higher passenger capacities), which accounts for the earlier recommendation.

Should I check-in 24 hours before a flight? ›

You should check in for your flight, the second the option becomes available (for most flights it's 24 hours before departure). When you check-in for a flight, it just puts you in the best possible position for communications with the airline.

Online Check-in for International Flights. Online check-in allows those who have reserved seats and completed the required information to check into their flight from 24 hours prior to departure. During this process, you can confirm or change seats and get a boarding pass.

For a short-haul flight where you are only taking hand luggage, checking in online saves a lot of time and is therefore much better than checking in at the airport. If, on the other hand, you have to check in bulky luggage, it is better to use the classic check-in at the airport for security reasons.

The answer is more complicated than you might think. Generally speaking, we like to err on the side of caution and suggest you print out your boarding pass, even if you already checked in online and have a mobile version on your phone.

Airport Check-in

It is advised to print out your flight itinerary ahead of time. For domestic flights, you are encouraged to be at the airport between 60 and 90 minutes before your plane departs. All check-ins, which includes yourself and your baggage, will close 40 minutes before the plane takes flight.

It's sometimes possible to check your bags 12 hours before a same-day flight in major airports, but this is at the discretion of the check-in staff and is by not guaranteed.

IndiGo recommends that Customers report for Check-in at least 4 hours prior to the departure of the scheduled flight. Passenger journey will be smoother if they allow themselves ample time to comply with the Check-in timelines.

Airport Etiquettes

Arrival Time: Reach the airport at least 2 hours before when travelling domestically and 3 hours before when flying internationally before the scheduled departure time.

In general, some airports will allow you to go through the security check-in much earlier while others may require you to arrive no earlier than 2-5 hours before the departing time. This is sometimes because the checked baggage counters and/or check-in gates are not open yet.
