What is formaldehyde?
Formaldehyde is a volatile organic compound (the so-called VOCs) that occurs naturally in a gaseous and colorless form, but is characterized by a pungent and acidic odor.

But in 2004, the ruling of the International Agency for Research on Cancer declared formaldehyde as one of the pathogens present in our environments as a certain carcinogen.
