    This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female respondents from the United Kingdom (UK) were asked how frequently they use makeup or foundation, broken down by age group. The results show that younger people use makeup and foundation more often than the older generation, with 39 percent of 18 to 29 year olds using them every day, compared to 20 percent of those aged 60 and over. Around 31 percent of women aged 60 and over said they never use the products.
