Can I drink 10 year old Baileys? ›

Bailey's says its product has a shelf life of two years. The problem with an older bottle would be the fat in the cream going rancid.

Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Shelf life of 18 months, once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 months of opening. Shake well before use. Can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, over ice-cream or ingredient in confectionary recipe or in co*cktails.

Baileys is made from the very best of premium quality dairy cream, triple-distilled whiskey, and fine spirits. It takes about 220 million liters of fresh cream from 38,000 top-bred Irish dairy cows (Baileys Ladies) for the creation of baileys annually.

As for the difference? Amarula is sweet fruity cream while Baileys is chocolaty cream. One is made from the fruit a Marula (Amarula) while the is made from Aged Irish Whiskey Fresh Irish cream, coco and vanilla (baileys).
