Which medications do you prescribe?

While clinicians practicing on the K Health platform can prescribe most medications, we always start with those that are considered the safest first-line treatments for anxiety and depression. You can learn more about what we treat and what prescriptions we provide in our Medical Policies.

Clinicians typically prescribe the lowest dose that’s medically appropriate to start and adjust slowly as required. Along with our bi-weekly follow-ups, this process can help you avoid side effects outright or catch them before they become serious.

Can online doctors prescribe Xanax?

No, K Health-affiliated clinicians can’t prescribe Xanax or any other controlled substance for anxiety treatment.

However, there are prescription alternatives to treat anxiety that they can prescribe. You can enroll in our Mental Health program for just $49/month and chat with a clinician to find a treatment plan that’s right for you.
