Member Resources

Growing Our Membership (2)

As an Association, we are only as strong as our membership.

Growing our membership is an important part of the fight. Membership gives us a nationwide footprint of freedom fighters that are ready to take care of the business at hand.

We recognize that the important work we do every day to fulfill our mission would not be possible without a network of dedicated local activists and community leaders, who want to see Black America thrive just as much as we do. That's why we need YOUR help to grow our support.

Each NAACP has the duty to reach within our communities to increase our membership. We ask you, especially on Founders' Day, to ask one person to join the NAACP to help us do the work.

With Every Member, We Thrive

Each NAACP member has the ability to help us double our reach to drive culture and change in communities across the country. We need every member to encourage their network to join the fight.

OUR IMPACT

Growing Our Membership (3)

Advocating for our Communities

Our lawyers and policy experts have secured desegregation, voting rights, and justice for majority Black cities like Jackson, Mississippi and Mason, Tennessee.

Growing Our Membership (4)

Thriving in Opportunity

The NAACP is a driving force for good in Black communities across the country. We provide scholarships for students, grants for Black entrepreneurs, and much-needed resources when disaster hits.

Growing Our Membership (5)

Together. Vote. Thrive.

Our vote is thriving. We recruited 30,000 volunteers and distributed $7 million to support voter mobilization efforts during the 2022 Midterm Elections. Black voters showed up and cast ballots that will change their communities.

Thrive With Us

We're doubling our membership in 2023. In order to extend our reach in building Black political power, we need your help. Urge your community to fight with us.
