Who is the bad guy in Far Cry 4 Valley of the Yetis? ›

Master Sandesh is the main antagonist in Far Cry 4's story-parallel DLC Valley of the Yetis. He is the leader of the Disciples, and tries to kill Ajay on many occasions by sending hordes of his Cultist soldiers after him and attacking the Relay Station.

Hajura'Amako Hatama is a featured location in Far Cry 4's 2015 DLC Valley of the Yetis. It is the tallest mountain of the Valley & the holy grounds for Master Sandesh, his Disciple soldiers and the Awakened (The Yetis).

The game's setting, Kyrat, is a fictional country in the Himalayas region. When building Kyrat, the developers merged elements from real-world regions including India, Nepal and Tibet, but exaggerated those elements.

My impression of Sabal, is that he is responsible, enough to have been accountable for Ajay's rescue, but too stuborn to compromise pragmatically. Amita appears pragmatic but is not morally sound in her judgements. Both are petty. Neither leaders, after defeating Pagan Min would progress the country further.

Why did the Far Cry team decide on Montana for the game's setting? The Far Cry franchise is about frontiers, and for Far Cry 5 the team wanted a place that was beautiful but also that felt remote. After making a short list of potential locations, the team got on a plane and headed to Montana.

Thus, at some point between the events of Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5 (4 years on the main timeline), something happens in Kyrat and a nuclear missile is launched at Montana. Now, other countries pile on the superpower, sending their own nukes, but Pagan Min has some responsibility now in the events of Far Cry 5.

This is where the story picks up after Ajay leaves, but if players choose to wait 15 minutes, Pagan Min will return. He'll explain his relationship with Ajay's mother, what Ajay's father did, and show Ajay where his half-sister's memorial is so he can put his mother's ashes there too.

At the end of the DLC Ajay turns into a Yeti - as the DLC is set before the end of the main game, Ajay doesnt overthrow/join Pagan as a Yeti.

And remember that Ajay's mother Ishwari fell in love with Pagan min and had a daughter named Lakshmana Min who was killed by your father when he found out. That's why your mother fled the country with you.
