The Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are premiering 12 movies in December, airing Dec. 2-18.
Below is a complete guide with the release date, cast and synopsis of the nine movies airing on The Hallmark Channel and the three movies airing on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in December 2022.
This month is also a continuation of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas,” where each of the network’s channels air new original Christmas movies leading up to the big holiday.
If you don’t have cable or a package with the channels, you can watch online via streaming services Philo, DIRECTV Stream or Fubo. Each service offers a free trial.

“A Big Fat Family Christmas”
Synopsis: “Liv is a photojournalist eager to make it on her own. To get a dream assignment – shooting the Chang family’s annual holiday party for a cover story – she doesn’t reveal that they are in fact, her family. When she finds herself growing close to Henry, the coworker covering the story with her, she wants to confide in him but doesn’t want to jeopardize her big break.”

“A Fabled Holiday”
Synopsis: “Talia and her childhood best friend Anderson unexpectedly reunite in a familiar looking town full of Christmas spirit that restores its visitors during their times of deep turmoil.”

“The Holiday Stocking”
Synopsis: “An angel has 12 days to reunite his sisters using a family Christmas tradition.”
Cast: Nadine Ellis, Tamala Jones and BJ Britt. Cameo by Mykelti Williamson.

“Undercover Holiday”
Synopsis: “When returning home for the holidays, newly minted pop star Jaylen tells her protective family that her overzealous security guard Matt is, in fact, her new beau.”

“The Most Colorful Time of the Year”
Synopsis: “A colorblind school teacher finds romance when a student and her optometrist mom help him see Christmas in color for the very first time.”

“Christmas Class Reunion”
Synopsis: “Valedictorian Elle is determined to host a perfect 15-year high school reunion. She’s looking forward to seeing her high school crush Kam, but she finds unexpected support in bad boy Devin.”

“The Gift of Peace”
Synopsis: “Artist Tracy lost her faith after tragedy, but begins to find inspiration, hope, and peace with a new community when she joins a grief support group at Christmas.”

“The Holiday Sitter”
Synopsis: “When Sam, a workaholic bachelor, babysits his niece and nephew before the holidays, he recruits help from their handsome neighbor Jason and finds himself in an unexpected romance.”

“Five More Minutes: Moments Like These”
Synopsis: “The second Christmas story inspired by Scotty McCreery’s song “Five More Minutes;” a young widow’s Christmas wish for her son is answered in unexpected ways when she returns to their old home.”

“Hanukkah on Rye”
