The Sims 4: Fashion Career Mod
It’s finally here: my first customcareer, the Fashion Career!
This game play mod includes:
- The ability to join a new career ingame: Fashion Career
- The ability to later branch off to oneof three branches: Model, Fashion Journalist or Designer.
- Tons of custom interactions
- Custom whim to join the Fashion Careerif your Sims have skills in painting or charisma
- Tons of custom moodlets
- Custom career tones (actions) whichyour Sims can do while at work
- Custom “chance cards” which willgive your Sims a positive or negative work boost depending on youranswer!
- Models can practice modelling in themirror
- Models who have a higher career levelcan “walk the runway” while at work and can receive a variety ofmoodlets depending on their skill level!
- Models can offer fashion advice, orbrag about being a model!
- Models earn a special trait at the topof their career which enhances their friendships and relationships.
- Designer Sims can create custom fashiondesigns on the easel- as their painting skill increases, theirdesigns get better (over 30 custom painting designs).
- Designers can also sell their work forprofit, and will receive a notification each time, telling whether ornot their work was chosen by a top fashion label
- Designers receive a trait at the top oftheir career which allows them to sell their own fashions at a muchhigher profit
- Journalists can interview other Simsabout their outfits, then write positive or negative articles aboutthem (be careful- your Sims friends might not like a negative articlewritten about them ;))
- At the top of the journalism career,Sims can write their own fashion magazine (just like publishing abook on the computer). The magazine can then be read, sold, orpublished for other Sims to enjoy!
The mod is base game compatible. Itshould be compatible with all other mods, including custom careers. It does not override anything in your game. It IS a script mod, somake sure your script mods are enabled and that your game is up todate before playing. This is not an “active” Get to Work career-so your Sims will not get the option to go to work- instead, this is a “traditional” career, styled like the base game careers.
This mod has been tested extensively but please do send me a private message here on Tumblr if you run across any issues, glitches, typos, etc. It’s such a big mod, so there could be something I’ve missed :)
