Fashion becomes very influential these days and have important role in our lives. Everyone becomes fashion enthusiast and always striving for more and different look. Otherwise, life become boring if we dress like same.
Fashion is an expression of feelings, behavior, and showing different style in clothing, footwear, accessories, and makeup. In present day society need the fashion and everybody want to discuss about latest fashion trends. Fashion and clothing holding our society together which creates unity among people. Fashion also describes norms of our society.
Modern dressing and youth lifestyle
If there is no fashion in our society so there is no individual personality and fashion also shows the class. Fashion also effects on relationships as well.Modern dressing that shows the youth lifestyle which starts from London during 1960s and spreads in all the world completely. For youth being fashionable is not only desirable but also satisfying. Fashion influencers target our youth strongly because they know young students easily attract to new fashion and trends, so they proved easy target to them.
Fashion has very strong impact on our society, it effects on our views towards a specific culture. Fashion shows better lifestyle and spread awareness as well. Students want to stand out through their appearance in their social circle. Students express their feeling and believes through their fashion and appearance. They show their personality through their dressing and latest fashion trends.
Malcolm Barnard writes in his book,(Fashion as Communication), "Fashion and clothing have always been explained as forms of communication”.
Student culture
For youth every style is accepted. In this globalized world celebrities play very important role in lives of students and youth crazily follow them. Students want to look like same and want up to date as they see their favorite celebrity icon. While watching TV or movie or reading newspaper or fashion magazines students get aware from latest fashion tends and they strictly follow them. Students want to enhance their personality by following the latest fashion trends.
Whenever the students meet each other, they always talk about latest fashion trends and how they improve their personality through fashion. Students are adopting non-natural behavior towards fashion which is quite artificial.
Students just follow the latest trends and spend a large amount of money on them just to show the good impact on the people of their surroundings. However, they don’t succeed more often. They can’t even concentrate on their studies as well because they are busy in chasing the latest trends. Students are also very confused in deciding that which trend they follow and which trend they don’t follow because at the same time there are more than one latest trend running in the society. Students also become jealous sometime due to fashion trends following which impact on their social circle and friends. Every student should go to student fashion week to learn about latest fashion trends.
Students just focus on the celebrity’s lifestyle and strictly follow them; they should focus on their studies as well. At the end if they calculate they’ll realize that they spent a lot of money on fashion instead of their studies and creativity. Universities are also giving fashion students scholarships as well.

When teenagers feel good about their fashion and dressings which improves their personality and gives them confidence as well, they feel independent. You can see the status of the person by seeing his trendy clothes. People think positive of a person who is wearing fashionable and trendy outfit.
Students must know that they could create their own fashion trends. Because fashion industry cannot reject the street fashion. Teenagers thought that being fashionable gives them more pleasure. Fashion must be followed but it should never disturb their studies.
Students must invest their money in positive things as well like studies, creativity, and academics. Fashion is an endless thing you can spend as many as you want but you cannot have everything.

Because it adds some value, and it is beneficial to the society. Companies always invest in the expansion of clothing line and stores. We cannot ignore this fact that fashion plays very important role in the life of student. It is the thing which makes the life more pleasant for them.
Now in college and universities also offering educational degrees in fashion so students can work in this field and understand about fashion trends. Universities are playing major role to promote latest fashion trends. The major fact is that college students don’t have enough money to go with the latest fashion trends, but on the other hand university students have more buying power so they match the latest outfit.
Depending on location and type of school, student wear casual clothes, so every school even every city has its own norms, so they wear clothes according to their society, norms, and culture. A large portion of students spend their time in library with sweatshirts and sweatpants, sweaters, and some other cozy outfit. These students don’t follow the latest fashion properly. Now student fashion show is also organized by many institutions.
Student Fashion Industry
Popular American designers like American Eagle, Juicy Couture and Hollister are working on students’ fashion as well. So, students can also enjoy latest fashion trends which specially designed for them. It’s really a big industry in fashion which can create lot of business. Dressing more fashionably and trendy makes a student life more joyful and exciting. College campus become more enjoyable to them. Uniforms and formal dressings are long gone now. In universities and colleges now organized student fashion design competitions for students’ growth and learning. Fashion is become a statement now, so every student wants it. With latest fashion students learn self-grooming as well, they care about their hairstyle and overall, from head to toe to look up to date and match with the trendy fashion. Every student wants to know that what are the trends of 2021.
