It depends person to person. Since its a physical art and each body is different the time one might take to learn the basics might differ. For the dance format to sit in the body, it requires atleast 2-3 years of adavus training.

Depends... Minimum of 6 months if you are a little older say above 13 or so.small children can learn thoroughly and properly in 1 to 2 yrs depending on the number of classes they attend and other factors
