I’m a marathon runner who has been a BODi partner for 7 years. I know that BODi programs are GREAT for runners. I did my first ever Beachbody program, P90X, in 2011 while training for my first marathon (at the same time!! Yes I was a little crazy) and got in the best shape of my life and PR’d a half marathon during my training by 5 minutes.
After I had my first daughter, I went back to P90x and people started asking what I was doing to lose weight and build muscle after having a baby.
Ultimately, I signed up as a Beachbody Coach a 2nd time (I quit Beachbody coaching after trying it in 2011 and 2012) because my old boss reached out to ask if she could get some Shakeology. My other good friend Allison was thinking of signing up as a Beachbody Coach because she loved 21 Day fix, and I figured I’d sign up under her and we’d do the business together.
I didn’t have big dreams about where the business would take me. I worked full time as an accountant and just figured the extra income would cover my extended maternity leave. Plus, I loved the programs and shared my running on my blog and instagram so I figured a few others might join me too. The work felt fulfilling and fun and low pressure.
From the start, I was successful, hitting our monthly benchmark of “success club” every month. My Type A personality loved having a goal to meet every month and I made it a mission to have at least 3 people join me a month. Since my results were great and I showed up consistently inviting people to my challenge groups on social media, I was bringing in new customers every month.
As my dedication and passion for the business grew, I knew I wanted to grow a team and try to make a more substantial income. I admit, it was not easy to get from a supplemental to significant income as a Beachbody coach. It took hard work and grit, but my passion for it and the community of coaches on my team kept me going, even after I got pregnant with twins and had way more excuses to quit Beachbody coaching.
Once I decided to become the Beachbody Coach for Runners and found Team Run the World, it became even more fulfilling. A year and a half after having my twins, I achieved Elite Coach for the first time, the highest rank of all Beachbody’s yearly achievements.
Our team has been one of the top teams in the company for the last 4 years, finishing as high as number 19 Beachbody team in the company. I have created systems, trainings and mentorship to help the BODi Partners on my team find success as well. I have trained other BODi Partners on stage at our conference, Summit, twice, been on our National Wake Up Call twice, and have been called the “Queen of Systems” by the Beachbody Corporate team.
Last year, Beachbody changed it’s name to BODi and refocused on a new mission of “Health Esteem”- this change has been more in line with my personal mission for my business and for Team Run the World. This year, we brought on Brendon Burchard as our Chief Growth Officer & have added new bonuses for newer and growing partners at the diamond and below level. 2023 is a GREAT time to get started as a BODi Partner.
