How To Use / Install PantsProp
1. A Note About Installation
PantsProp (v3) is made from a very soft silicone-like material. This allows the rings to stretch quite a bit around either end of the base. Also, the base is quite pliable. This further allows the rings to be installed easier.
I recommend attaching PantsProp to each side of your shirt (around the seam line), right below where your pants waistline will sit. Though, feel free to attach it wherever you find works best for you.
Basic installation steps:
Have your pants fastened & shirt untucked
Place your finger on the outside of your untucked shirt, on the side hip, just below the waist/belt-line
Grab one of the PantsProp bases, and place it in that location on the INSIDE of the shirt
Base: Should be located on the INSIDE of your shirt, with the smaller side against the shirt
Ring: Will be attached from the OUTSIDE of your shirt
Pro Tip: In some cases in may be easier to mark the location on your shirt where you want to install PantsProp, remove your shirt and install it. One (very happy) customer uses tape to mark locations on the back of his shirt.Check out his full PantsProp review here.
3. Use Ring To Secure PantsProp
After positioning the base around the side-seam of your shirt on the inside, secure the base to the shirt using the ring on the outside of your shirt.
Position the ring on the outside of your shirt around perimeter of the base (which is on the inside of the shirt)
Hold the ring in place, using handles
Push the base through the ring – the base & rings are made of very soft silicone-like material, so the base is quite pliable and the rings stretch quite a bit
4. Position Pants Waistline Just Above PantsProp
Once you’ve secured PantsProp to your shirt, position your pants waistline just above PantsProp on both sides. If you find that your pants are sitting too high (or low), simply reposition PantsProp as needed.
5. Fasten Your Belt (We’re Ready For Takeoff)
Now, just fasten your belt. The bottom of your belt should be positioned right above the top ridge of PantsProp.
Pro Tip: Some PantsProp customers have found that wearing elastic/stretch belts are more effective & comfortable than wearing standard belts.
You’re All Set…
While most products won’t entirely eliminate the possibility of your pants falling down or shirts staying tucked, I do hope PantsProp will minimize it from happening to you.

Our bodies expand throughout the day, and it's not polite to re-buckle your belt in public. (But we've all done it...) Your pants are made to be worn too high or too low for a belt to sit comfortably. The belt's holes are too few or aren't far enough apart.
Hitching up your pants before sitting down to prevent overstretching them with your knees is helpful, but if you're likely to forget, try wearing a belt with your jeans instead. Belts help to keep your pants up and maintain their form over your body.
PantsUp keeps your pants from sliding down without the use of traditional suspenders. If you have the same problem as many other men… Dean Gilbert Enterprises designed and created the PantsUp device to meet needs.
No matter what you do, your pants keep falling down. PantsProp can help. Just attach PantsProp to your shirt & fasten your belt. It's as simple as that!
One possible reason is that the size or fit of your jeans may not be right for your body shape. It's important to find jeans that fit well around your waist, hips, and thighs to avoid constant pulling. Another reason could be the quality of the jeans.
Pants that are too large result in an excess fabric that causes jeans to slip down. Similarly, buying women's jeans from poor-quality shops results in pants that often lose their shape while wearing. This means more pulling on your belt loops to get them to sit right.
Suspenders are the alternative to a belt that's too Tight. Whether you choose HIKERS® Button Fly Suspenders or Upfitter™ Suspenders, both will keep your pants up and your waist constriction free, and they can be your secret, hidden under your t-shirt. HIKERS® Co. Suspenders are the perfect belt substitute.
Fold and pinch the excess fabric into 2 large pleats, until the waistband is taut and comfortable around your waist.Hold these pleats in place with 1 hand and thread a belt through the loops. Once you've tightened the belt into place, you'll be ready to go!
You should fasten your pants with a belt by bringing your legs together while tightening your belt. You'll want your belt to be tight against your body to keep your pants up while standing and walking. After firmly fastening your belt, you may want to readjust the way your pants are positioned.
Some styles of jeans are more likely to slide down when worn than others. Low-rise jeans, for example, have a high risk of experiencing this phenomenon due to the way in which they sit.
* The waist should fit just above the hip bones, and be both loose enough to allow 2-4 fingers to fit inside the waistband and tight enough to sit in place without a belt.
Because of their image as 'underwear', some men switched to belts during the 1930s as the vests (US/Canada) or waistcoats which had hidden suspenders became worn less often. This also signaled the switch in the position of securing buttons from the outside of the waistband to the inside.
You should never, ever wear suspenders with a belt. If your trousers have belt loops, that's ok as long as there is no belt. Wearing suspenders as well as a belt is considered to be bad form. So: belt loops = ok, belt = not ok.
PantsProp attaches to your shirt or undershirt, and creates a small ridge for your pants waistline to sit upon. Then when you fasten your belt, the ridge should help keep your pants up or shirts tucked. It can be used as an alternative to suspenders or shirt stays.
Roll your pant leg up twice to secure the fold in place.
If you're wearing low-top shoes, the bottom of the cuff should be about 1.5–2 inches (3.8–5.1 cm) above your ankle. For high-top shoes, you can have the cuff cover the top of your shoe, or you can roll it up higher so it falls just above the top of your shoe.
