Most new garments can bleed a bit for the first few laundry cycles, so washing newer items alone or only with like colors is a great way to avoid dye transfer. But to restore items that have picked up fugitive colors in the wash cycle, you can try a bleach soaking solution, as long as the items are safely bleachable.
The bleach active in Clorox® Bleach is sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). Historically, our bleach was made in a simple process beginning with passing an electric current through salt water to produce sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and chlorine gas (Cl2); these two products are then combined, producing sodium hypochlorite bleach.

To remove color bleed, avoid using a dryer which can set the stain; instead soak garments with laundry detergent, vinegar or oxygen-based bleach depending on fabric type and dye strength.
However, vinegar may or may not be able to stop a garment from bleeding color. Can baking soda remove color bleed? Baking soda may be able to remove a color bleed stain that has been transferred onto white or very light-colored garments due to its bleaching abilities.
Using a bucket, a sink or a bowl, create a soaking solution by adding 1 ounce or 1 tablespoon of Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Liquid per gallon of warm water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 5 minutes, weighting the item with a white towel to keep it totally submerged.
Take a white cloth and dampen it with a commercial stain remover, rubbing alcohol, hairspray, or any clear solvent that is 90% alcohol. Dab the stain with the white cloth repeatedly, and the dye should keep transferring from your garment onto the white cloth. Afterward, rinse in warm water. Proceed with normal wash.
Confirm that the item that bled color is out of the wash load. Rewash all the stained clothes using oxygen bleach (brands include OxiClean, Nellie's Oxygen Brightener, and Oxo Brite) in addition to your regular laundry detergent.
If you're trying to get dye out of clothes with vinegar, you'll want to start by soaking the stained clothing in a mixture of one part vinegar to four parts water for about 30 minutes. After that, you can either wash the clothing in your washing machine with detergent, or you can hand wash it.
And it works well in treating blood, mildew, fruit and vegetable, and dye-transfer stains. Even though it is a very mild form of bleach, it is best to test hydrogen peroxide on colored clothes in an inconspicuous spot (e.g., the hem or inside seam) to make sure the colors don't fade.

If the affected clothing is white, then a chlorine-based bleach will be able to get rid of the stains. On the other hand, if the affected clothing is a colored one, you will need to invest in a non-chlorine, oxygen-based bleach, in order to keep the original color of the clothing intact.
Like any stain, a colour run is best treated if caught as soon as possible – while it's still wet. Rewash the stained item on its own with Persil small & mighty to rinse out the unwanted dye.
Prepare a mixture of cold water and one to two teaspoons of liquid laundry detergent or a stain-removing product like Carbona Oxy Powered Laundry Soaker. Allow the garment to soak in the mixture for several hours or overnight. Pretreat with a laundry pre-treater, or rub the stain with bar soap.
Mix equal parts vinegar and baking soda to form a paste and apply it to the red dye stain. Gently rub the paste into the fabric, allowing it to sit for approximately 30 minutes. Afterward, soak the garment in a mixture of vinegar and cold water for an additional 30 minutes.
