K.K. Slider(とたけけ,Totakeke?), commonly known asK.K., orDJ K.K.is adogwho appears in all of theAnimal Crossingseriesgames to date. He works as a musician, playing songs on his guitar. InAnimal Crossing, he could be found near the train station;Wild WorldandCity Folkhad him playing inThe Roostcafé; whereasNew Leafsaw him move to working inClub LOL. His birthday was revealed inAnimal Crossing Plaza. Like other special characters that appear in theAnimal Crossingseries, he does not celebrate it.
K.K. Slider plays a total of 55 songs inAnimal Crossing, 70 songs inWild World, 75 inCity Folk, and 91 inNew Leaf. A full list of his songs can be foundhere.
Vester&Friends canon
KK Slider is the character that plays on his guitar just like in the canon. In VAF Plush Shorts, Spongebob Rectanglepants was talking about Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City which he named it Animal Crossing: Let’s Not Buy This Crappy Game. KK just hit Spongebob with his guitar. He's also Isabelle's Ex, he is quite selfish and only watches movies with Isabelle and doesn't care about amiibos.
History
When KK Slider was a puppy, he was bullied by Tom Nook and his friends at school, but he had a crush on Isabelle. When he entered Vesterland, he meets a grown-up Isabelle, but becomes jealous that she had already got a boyfriend(Blue Yoshi). So he meets Link and Link helps KK Slider on getting Isabelle to be his girlfriend. He finds out that Isabelle and Blue Yoshi have not been spending as much time together and she is think about breaking up with him. KK Slider is relieved and the two dogs start dating each other.
KK Slider and Isabelle become boyfriend and girlfriend, however it does not go well because all they had done was watch movies that Isabelle finds boring.
Meanwhile, Mario finds out that Link had made that plan to have Isabelle break up with BY and warns BY that he had already lost his girlfriend. BY is furious and plans a revenge on Link by pranking him on Link's night out with Zelda. Link gets pranked and apologizes for what he did wrong.
BY gets after Isabelle and apologizes for not spending much time with her. Isabelle forgives him and they're relationship has gotten better since, which leaves KK Slider heartbroken.
Trivia
KK Slider's dog breed is a Jack Russell Terrier.
KK Slider, Isabelle, and Tom Nook are (so far) the only Animal Crossing characters in VAF.
He and Isabelle are the only animal crossing dog characters in VAF.
KK was originally on the VAF website, but the chocolate master would replace him after a few months on returning to the channel.
It's unknown if KK is going to return or if he will return, but it's also unknown if he will return in the upcoming Isabelle's New Love Arc following the break up between her and Blue Yoshi. If he does return, it's possible he could try and get Isabelle as his girlfriend again without Link's help.
