Zara is a huge global player in the fashion industry. The likelihood there is sexual exploitation in their supply chain is high. The likelihood they don't pay a fair wage is high. And the likelihood their manufacturing methods pollute rivers and oceans is high.

People are furious with Zara for selling a $90 checked skirt that they say is cultural appropriation. Zara is being accused of cultural appropriation over a $90 skirt. People claim that the skirt resembles a lungi, a sarong frequently worn by men in South and Southeast Asia, East Africa, and some Arab countries.
