At Brahms Mount, we are proud to use machines and methods that have stood the test of time and still produce the best quality fabrics available—and even prouder to play a role in keeping American manufacturing alive and well.

As one of the few remaining American textile mills, all Brahms Mount designs originate at our headquarters in Maine, and every textile is woven on our looms by local artisans, just as we’ve done since the company was founded in 1983.

We purchase the finest natural fibers and colorfast and eco-friendly dyes—all from some of the world’s best sources, and many of which are right here in the U.S.A. Only a portion of the yarns we use are from abroad.

The raw textiles are then finished to product specifications, inspected, washed, packaged and shipped—right from our modern and efficient mill in Monmouth, Maine. The pieces come off the loom feeling clean and untreated, rich and resilient.
