Warm and Natural

If you read our 2022/23 trend report, you won’t be surprised that natural tones are key. With a desire to create a private, calming space being the main focus of 2023, natural hues are a must-have. The warm tones provide a more uplifting and positive impact, while nature-inspired shades offer a practical and versatile colour palette that’s easy to implement.

Moreover, colours may be taken from the natural surroundings, however, don’t think they are plain and boring! This year’s trend is elevating the neutral pastels from 2022 and giving them a more defined and bold finish. 2023 redefines what a natural tone is, focusing on all aspects of our landscape – from rich green botanicals and dark teal lakes to delicate lavender fields filled with purple magic.

See below two of the colours that are dominating the trend forecasts from leading home companies across the world.

That takes us to our first trending colour: Warm Yellow

These deep and rich colors add a warm and slightly earthy tone to a room. A warm yellow is also very versatile. In modern homes, it adds warmth and color. And for period homes it enhances the historic feeling of the home as it’s a shade that has been used in homes for centuries.
