Haerin from the viral K-pop girl group NewJeans has been named the newest global ambassador for Dior. According to an announcement posted on NewJeans’ Instagram, the 16-year-old star will serve as the Global Ambassador for Jewelry and House Ambassador for Fashion and Beauty at Dior.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate the privileged ties binding more than ever the NewJeans singer and Dior. Between elegance and audacity, a unique friendship in the name of creativity,” Dior told WWD in a statement.
Haerin will join a number of other K-pop stars signed to the house including BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, BTS‘ Jimin, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, and EXO‘s Sehun. She is also the final member from NewJeans to secure a spot at a high-end luxury fashion house with her bandmates Minji representing Chanel, Hanni signed with Gucci, Danielle for Burberry, and Hyein with Louis Vuitton.
