The Private Courtyard area is exclusively for Villa Guests and features a covered 1m deep pool, a hot tub, refreshment area, padded chairs and loungers and an exercise bike and treadmill.

Body Waves Fitness Centre (Gym)

The Body Waves Fitness Centre on deck 12 opens from 6am to 11pm with a full service gym and fitness classes offered daily.

Held in the aerobic and yoga area with a sprung wooden floor, classes such as early morning stretch and awesome abs are complimentary whilst the likes of Pilates and yoga attract a fee of $12 per session and Tour de Spin $20 per session (subject to change). Also on offer is TRX Suspension Training® classes utilising strength training with adjustable resistance straps to build core muscles and enhance flexibility, balance and mobility. Four classes are held on a seven night sailing at $20 for a single class or $60 for all four classes.

The gym is an adult only facility and under 16’s are not permitted.

Fitness equipment includes cardiovascular workout machines, weight machines, recumbent bicycles, elliptical machines, treadmills and free weights with the addition of flat screen TV’s on individual bikes and treadmills for guests to view during workouts.

Bora Bora Health Spa (Jacuzzi, Adultonlypool, Sauna, Steam Room)

The Bora Bora Spa aft of deck 12 is open from 8am to 10pm, and offers a full service beauty salon and spa with a wide range of treatments to rejuvenate the body and soul.

Encompassed within the spa are a number of treatment rooms offering services including massages, body therapies, peels, wraps and beauty treatments for both men and women; a unisex hairdressing salon where guests can get their hair cut and styled, have manicures and pedicures or men’s grooming such as deep cleanse grooming and or express shaves, and a Thermal Suite.

BOTOX®, Restylane® and Perlane® professional medi-spa treatments are also on offer along with Ionithermie Cellulite Reduction, Acupuncture and teeth whitening.

Charges apply for all treatments such as $150 for 60minutes acupuncture. Under 18’s can have spa treatments but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

The Thermal Suite within the Spa costs $119 for a week (or $199 per couple for a week) and a limited number of passes are available. Facilities include wet and dry saunas, a relaxation room, hot tub, hydro-therapy pool and cold plunge pools . Also located by the pool are around six heated ceramic loungers and loungers enjoying sea views out of the floor to ceiling windows.

Jacuzzi

Norwegian Jewel has a total of seven hot tubs conveniently located throughout the ship. Four can be found around the Sapphire Pool on deck 12, one within the Spa facilities on deck 12, one by the kid’s Sapphire pool on deck 12 and one private one for use by Villa guests only on deck 14. No unaccompanied children are allowed in the hot tubs and the two forward hot tubs on deck 12 are for adults only.

Opening times are from 8am to 11pm.
