Sends Terrible Message to Kids
Other users have it right: Rainbow High is extremely shallow. Kids also don't need to be worried about how many "likes" or "followers" they should have on any social media platform, but it focuses way too much on that. This show has zero substance.

Very shallow
My 8 year old daughter has watched the two episodes from Season 1 that's on Netflix UK. I can't believe how shallow this programme is. It's all based on them becoming more popular, how many views and followers they have. I definitely feel my daughter doesn't need to be worrying about these things yet. This should be more for teenagers who have social media. Even then I know there's a lot of bullying in schools these days because of how many followers or views you have and this does nothing but promote this sort of shallow behaviour. There is no educational aspect of this. I'm very unpopular in my house now as I've told my daughter not to watch it again.

My 7 year old daughter and me watched the the first episode of this RainbowHigh. The content is about a high school whose main course is fashion. And since it is high school, they talk about dating, breakup, etc. Although the characters looks appealing for younger audience, the content is PG 13. It emphasizes on superficial aspects like outer looks and doesn’t have any other values.

Bonding Friendships and be Yourself! Let’s keep that confidence High at Rainbow High!
It promotes Accepting Change, Self Confidence, Friendship and Creativity. No they aren’t going over color theory or counting to 10 but that doesn’t exempt it from being educational. I very much enjoyed the show and something I personally don’t mind watching with all of my children. The subjects are a bit mature at times but relevant to middle schoolers in today’s school culture. I say middle schoolers cause it’s a bit too childish for my high school children . So they tell me. But we all enjoy the dolls so much that the show is more of a way for my children to play out different personalities and look at life in so many different perspectives. I would give it a 5 but the episode aren’t very long so a whole season is like watching a short movie.

Amazingly Creative
My daughter loves this show and I actually enjoy watching it with her. It's about a group of colorful friends who attend an art-focused high school. There are wonderful messages throughout the show, including one about teaching kids not to overshare everything on social media and to respect others privacy, which I think is perfect for this day and age. It should be noted that this show does have a doll line connected with it, but the dolls aren't actively promoted in the show luckily.

Different
I love rainbow high dolls we bought some for my granddaughter she's autistic and all she sees are the colors of the dolls and their skin difference and she loves their clothes it may not be very educational but it allows my granddaughter to understand that there are many different girls are many different colors and that they can play and laugh and get along together
