Peaky Blinders returned with a bang last week as viewers saw Tommy Shelby set off to North America.
However, the final scene left many viewers rather puzzled.
Lizzie told Tommy their daughter, Ruby, had a fever dream and was repeating several Romani words - 'Tickna mora o'beng'.
She said: "[Ruby] kept saying these gypsy words, 'tickna mora… tickna mora o'beng, o'beng' over and over."
Lizzie added that Ruby kept seeing a 'man with green eyes' causing Tommy to panic.
He asked Lizzie to keep Ruby out of school and away from the river and horses.
Tommy also instructed Lizzie to place a Black Madonna around Ruby's neck.
Following the episode, fans took to Google, to ask what the words meant.
Luckily, one viewer on Twitter knew the answer.
Kizzie Robinson said: "I’ve not watched it yet but I am Romany gypsy and know a few words of Romani language.
"Depending on where regionally you come from it would roughly translate to either the heart of the devil or the girl of the devil (devil girl), hope this helps!"
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight also spoke about the significance of the scene to DigitalSpy.
He said: "It's difficult to translate from the Romani, but it means 'devil'. It means a bit more than that, but yeah.
"So it's not good. It's not a good thing."
Some viewers have linked Tommy's distress to his fear that he is the devil.
However, others think 'the man with the green eyes' was a subtle hint to Oswald Mosley's character.
