Poppy Marshall (2024)

Poppy Marshall is the daughter of Haley and Dylan Marshall and twin sister of George Marshall. The baby wasfirst mentioned in "Did the Chicken Cross the Road?" when Haley learned that she was pregnant after an accident that brought her to the emergency room. A nurse revealed to her and Dylan the surprising news after a routine test. In"A Moving Day", Haley and Dylan had their first ultrasound and found out that they were having twins. The twins were born in "A Year of Birthdays".

Trivia[]

• Since the twins were presumably conceived close to the end of Haley's relationship with Arvin Fennerman and the beginning of her renewed relationship with Dylan, there was a presumed possibility either of them being the father. However, in "Kids These Days", Haley confirms that Dylan is the father after working out the date she conceived with the doctor. (Hayley also hadn’t been sexually actively with Arvin since he left for a job in another country)
• In "A Year of Birthdays", shortly after the twins are born, Claire jokes that Haley would have named them Pixar and Coachella if she named them while still high on the drugs from the birth.
• In "New Kids On The Block", Haley says she is named Poppy after her favourite flower.
• In "A Game of Chicken", her father Dylan believes that she is possessed.
• In "The Last Thanksgiving", her uncle Luke comments that she needs a personality, earning him a hit to the gut with a pool stick by Dylan.
• By “Baby Steps”, Poppy has learnt to walk.
• It is unknown what Poppy will be come and if she becomes a rebellious teenager like her mother Haley Marshall and her grandmother Claire Dunphy.
• In 2038, Poppy will be 18 years old.
