A chain of breweries and brewpubs in Massachusetts is permanently closing all of its locations.BeerWorks, which was in Boston, Salem, Lowell, Hingham and Framingham, said it has served its last beers."We've decided to pack it in due to the pandemic and all that. We will miss you and the many years of fun we had bringing you fresh local beer and food. BeerWorks was proud to serve you," said Joe Slesar president of the company that owns the chain.The first BeerWorks location opened in 1992 near Fenway Park.No BeerWorks locations have been open since March 2020, when the state ordered a shutdown to all restaurant businesses due to the pandemic.
