You are like a wing that shelters my children, strong with protection, soft with grace. You are like a shield that encircles them each day.

They run free and you are with them as they adventure. You are like a crown placed upon their heads, a symbol of sonship, of belonging and of their adoption into your family.

Lord, I place them into your great care and declare that they are yours.

Lord God,

I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the one who fights for me every day.

Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection.

There are so many things in this world that can bring us down, hurt us, or threaten to steal our joy. I pray protection over all of us that no matter what the circ*mstances are, we remain steadfast, trusting Your will for our lives. I also pray our marriages are stronger than ever, able to withstand any such threat in Jesus’ name,

I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my grandkids. Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary.

Now that I’m leaving my home to go to work, I ask you for your divine protection on the road. Protect me from accidents due to a vehicle malfunctioning or a reckless driver. Do not allow any injury come near my body.

Open my eyes wide open and remove any distraction, Lord, so I can pay full attention on the road. Protect me also from crimes. Frustrate any plot against me. Cover me under your Wings and hide me from the preying eyes of criminals.In the Name of Jesus, I pray.

Righteous Father in heaven,

I know that there is a dark force out there that is opposed to You and to me. It is an invisible enemy who make try to discourage us or use others to do the same. Please help me to recognize when I’m under spiritual attacks so that I can be prepared to use the armor that You have provided for me and I also ask for Your protection for my family and from those in the local body of Christ. It seems that the world is growing more wicked every day and is a lot like Noah’s day when all they thought about was doing evil. It is getting harder every day Lord to live for You so help me to resist the temptation to compromise and to stand firm on what I know is true and in the glorious name of Jesus Christ I pray.
